Judge W. Kenneth Zuk
Judge W. Kenneth Zuk graduated from
Xavier University in 1968 with a Bachelor’s
degree in political science. He obtained his
Juris Doctorate from Salmon P. Chase
College of Law in 1972. While a student at
Xavier University, Judge Zuk was a member
of the St. Thomas More Pre-Legal Society
and the Pi Alpha Delta fraternity. He was a
center on the X.U. varsity football team for
three seasons. Judge Zuk was admitted to
the practice of law in the State of Ohio in
1972, and in 1982 was admitted to practice
in Federal District Court and the United
States Supreme Court.
First appointed as a Judge in 1987 to the
County Court of Clermont County, Judge
Ken Zuk was elected to the bench in 1989
and served until 1991, when the Clermont County Municipal Court was
established. At that time he once again engaged in full-time private practice,
specializing as a criminal defense and personal injury attorney.
Judge Zuk has served as president of the Clermont County Bar Association,
chairman and board member of Child Focus, Inc., board member of WOBO Radio, board member of McNicholas
High School, board member of St. Joseph Orphanage and member of Teamster Local 100. He remains an active member of the
Knights of Columbus and the Animal Rescue Fund.
Judge Zuk Appointed
In February of 2009,
Judge Zuk was
appointed to the
Common Pleas Court
bench, filling a vacancy
created when Judge
Robert Ringland was
elected to the 12th
District Court of Appeals.
As the most recent
member of the bench,
Judge Zuk brings with
him the knowledge and
insight acquired as a
Judge of the County
Court and his vast
experience as a
practicing attorney.
